DAY 1: USE THE PRODUCT
Today, it's all about USING THE PRODUCTS. This is your first step to growing an oily biz. Sounds pretty simple right? You're probably thinking—just using the product won't help me build a business...—but you're wrong. Here's why:
Be a product of the product. It’s important to use the products and discover ways in which they work for your body and your family. Be creative and TRY TRY TRY. Keep your oils out in the open in your home, bring them to work, keep one or two in the car, so you see them and remember to use them. Try different diffusing recipes for different times of the day—yes, you can mix your oils! I encourage you to create your own blends.
When you continuously try new things, and use oils in more ways than one, you learn. And when you learn you grow and become more knowledgeable on the products. Technically speaking, you don’t need to know anything about the product to build a young living business, but if you want to grow organically and effortlessly, this is the way to do it.
Constantly talking about the products you’re trying, and sharing with others what you’re using will allow you to grow a business without EVER sounding like a salesperson (we’ll cover this fear later this month). Your friends and family will notice your new lifestyle, ask questions, and sooner or later you'll have your first new wholesale member. It's THAT simple. First thing is first though, USE YOUR PRODUCTS.
